Greenpeace Romania activists are protesting against a lignite coal power plant unit, which is operating illegally, in Turceni, Romania. The Oltenia Energy Complex is again operating an energy unit from Turceni power plant, although it does not comply with the operating conditions according to the legislation regarding the industrial emissions.

Two activists standing in front of the power plant are holding a banner reading in Romanian: "opitri polutarea! Turceni Nr. 7 functioneaza nelegal" translated it says: "Stop pollution! Turceni No. 7 illegal power plant"
