Greenpeace activists hold a protest in front of the Thai Union HQ, a Thailand-based producer of seafood-based food products, in Bangkok, to challenge the company to change their practices which harm the environment and are linked to human rights and labour abuses. The activists place a large mock-up of a SEALECT tuna can and a banner reading “Not Just Tuna: fairness to workers and protection of the oceans”.
Protests are also carried out in several other countries against Thai Union’s tuna brands such as John West in the UK, Mareblu in Italy and Chicken of the Sea in the USA.
