Protest in front of Mondelez Int. HQ in Vienna, Austria

Greenpeace Austria protested in front of Mondelez International Headquarters in Vienna against forest destruction for palm oil and cocoa in their supply chain for Milka chocolate. Greenpeace activists built an almost life-sized burnt rainforest scene and place the Milka Cow as a symbol for the company in the middle. Two climbers put up a banner above the entrance. The campaign is calling for a strong FERC legislation to stop the import of products to the EU markets that cause forest destruction and human rights violations in the countries of origin. (i.e. Malaysia and Indonesia for palm oil or Ghana and Ivory Coast for cocoa).
