Protest outside IOTC Meeting in Mauritius
Artisanal fishermen stage a protest at the IOTC meeting in Grand Baie. Registered artisanal fishermen are opposed to a deal between Mauritius and the European Union allowing EU vessels from countries such as France, Portugal and Spain to catch tuna in Mauritian waters. The EU will pay Mauritius 660,000 euros annually over a three-year period.
