The purpose of the tour in Greece is to support local communities that are affected by plans for hydrocarbon (HC) explorations, to strengthen local initiatives and help them unite under a national climate movement umbrella. It’s essential for all elements of society to rise up and unite demanding climate action by the government. The tour will use this opportunity to suggest real and sustainable energy solutions in the form of collective energy schemes, that promote clean energy and mass participation of the society according to the principles of energy democracy.
