Raoni Hammer at Marsden B Power Station Occupation Action

Greenpeace activist Raoni Hammer lowers himself into the waiting arms of the law following a nine day occupation of the Marsden B power station at Ruakaka, Northland. The protest, which started on the entry into force of the Kyoto protocol on the 16th February, is against the conversion of 'Marsden B' power station set to emit 2 million tonnes of climate changing carbon dioxide each year.
