Reef Investigation in Apo Island

While the marine sanctuary at Apo Island was destroyed by typhoon Pablo in December 2012, some dive sites remain untouched. Typhoons rarely pass through this area. An increase in the severity of extreme weather events is one of the predicted effects of climate change.

MY Esperanza in the Philippines
