The Federal Council and parliament are called upon to intervene with regulatory measures to ensure that the Swiss financial centre gears its financial flows in a climate-friendly manner. Greenpeace activists carry the three wise monkeys to the Federal Palace. Instead of monkey hands, banknotes cover the eyes, ears and mouth of the figures. The three monkeys stand for the politicians, the administration and the supervisory authorities, who see nothing, hear nothing and say nothing about the role of the Swiss financial centre. Locations:Bern (Switzerland)-Europe-SwitzerlandDate:23 Sep, 2020Credit:© Greenpeace / Ex-Press / Severin NowackiMaximum size:8192px X 5464pxKeywords:Actions and protests-Animal likeness-Climate (campaign title)-Day-Financial concepts-Greenpeace activists-KWCI (GPI)-Money-Monkeys-Outdoors-Petitions-Props-Small group of people-Urban areasShoot:Regulation of the Swiss Financial Sector Action in BernGreenpeace Switzerland submits the popular complaint "Protecting the climate - regulating the financial centre" with over 23,000 signatures to the Federal Chancellery in Bern.
