Renewable Energy Projection Action in Piran

Greenpeace activists project messages in Slovenian, Croatian, Italian, Hungarian and English on the walls of St. George's Parish Church in Piran to draw attention to the current oil rush that is happening along the Adriatic. With the messages "S.O.S. za Jadran, Sonce ne pošilja racunov, Buducnost je obnovljiva, Don´t spoil the Adriatic, Tiszta Adriát!, No trivelle, si rinnovabili!" they urge the countries of the Adriatic region to develop a plan for protection of their common sea and to refrain from new oil adventures and instead invest in the exploitation of the abundant solar energy available in the wider Mediterranean. In their messages, the organisation also thanks all those who have supported the group "S.O.S. for the Adriatic" in the recent months.
