The Agronegócio Condomínio Estrondo contracted Estrela Guia company to prevent access from the community residents to an area in judicial dispute, using armed security guards. Despite the ownership of the area being currently guaranteed by justice to Cachoeira community residents, their access remains hindered by trenches three meters deep, fences and armed guards. Mr Gomes says: "The lives of community residents have changed a lot. I'm even neglecting to take care of my things, the animals, because I avoid walking alone in the countryside. I'm even afraid of what they can do to us." The whole community has no more than 200 heads of cattle, and there have already been cases where contracted security guards working for Agronegócio Estrondo carry out firings against Cachoeira community residents. In original language:Cerrado Brasileiro e Produção de SojaAdão Batista Gomes, 57, morador da comunidade Cachoeira, localizada no oeste da Bahia.
