Jossone was born and raised in the community, where he lives with his wife and their children. In January 2019, Jossone was shot in the leg by the private armed security guards hired by Agronegócio Condomínio Estrondo to prevent the access of the community residents to an area in judicial dispute. The ownership of the area is currently guaranteed by justice to the community.
