Sampling Genetically Engineered Maize in Germany
Greenpeace activist take samples of genetically engineered maize on a Monsanto field near Borken, Germany. This maize contains a herbicide, which does not only kills the European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis), but also other insects like butterflys and honey bees. Activists in white protective suits, labeled "GE control", cut leafs and blossoms of genetically engineered maize plants and collect soil samples on the field.
In original language:
Aktion gegen gentechnisch veraendertem Mais
