Greenpeace Switzerland carries out a 'Save the Arctic’ Tour through Switzerland to engage the public regarding the 'Arctic 30’ - 28 Greenpeace activists and two journalists. They face up to 15 years imprisonment in Russia for peaceful protests against the environmental degradation in the Arctic.
In Luzern, many people show solidarity and call for the immediate release of detained Greenpeace activists and the protection of the Arctic. In the picture an activist in a symbolic cage holds a sign reading "Free our activists".

November 2013: Greenpeace Schweiz tourt mit der SAVE THE ARCTIC TOUR durch die Schweiz, um Öffentlichkeit zu gewinnen für die 'Arctic 30’ - 28 Greenpeace-Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten sowie 2 Journalisten. Ihnen drohen bis zu 15 Jahre Haft nach friedlichen Protesten gegen die Umweltzerstörung in der Arktis.
