Giorgio Armani shorts. This product was tested as part of the Greenpeace Detox campaign report "A Little Story About a Fashionable Lie." A new investigation by Greenpeace International has found a broad range of hazardous chemicals in children's clothing and footwear produced by eight luxury fashion brands, like Dolce & Gabbana and Dior.

A total of 27 children's textile products from 8 major luxury brands (Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Trussardi and Versace) were purchased in May and June 2013. The items were purchased in 9 countries and regions worldwide from flagship stores or from other authorised retailers. Hazardous chemicals were found in 16 products while examples of hazardous chemical residues were found in products from all of the brands represented in the study apart from Trussardi.
