In front of the headquarters Greenpeace activists call on Siemens to withdraw its plans for a new hydro dam project at the Tapajós river in the Amazon in the state of Pará (Brazil). They show live-size photos of the Munduruku indigenous people, who would lose their livelihood by the Sao Luiz do Tapajós dam. The activists also place a podium for CEO Joe Kaeser in front of the company headquarters where he could commit to protect the Amazon.

München, 22.7.2016: Greenpeace-Aktivisten fordern von Siemens eine klare Absage, sich am Bau des Sao-Luiz-do-Tapajós-Staudamms im brasilianischen Amazonasgebiet im Bundesstaat Pará zu beteiligen.
Mit lebensgroßen Bildern von Angehörigen des vom Damm bedrohten Munduruku-Volkes protestieren sie vor der Konzernzentrale, wo sie außerdem ein Rednerpult für Siemens-Chef Jo Kaeser aufgebaut haben, der sich hier für den Schutz des Amazonas aussprechen könnte.
