The hearing comes eight months after the four organisations that brought the case won a landmark victory in which the judges declared the state's climate inaction illegal and affirmed its responsibility for the climate crisis. The court then reopened the case to "determine the measures that must be ordered from the State" to repair the ecological damage caused by the excess emissions between 2015 and 2018.Related Collections:The Case of the Century in France - 2019 to 2021The "Case of the Century" Forces the State to Act for the Climate in France (Photos & Video)
