Greenpeace Executive Directors and other activists protest outside the Japanese House of Representatives office building and later at Shibuya Crossing in the heart of Tokyo. The group also deliver a letter to Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso's office and hold a press conference in support of the two Greenpeace activists, Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki, who face trial for their activities in the Greenpeace anti-whaling campaign. The Executive Directors present are: Liesbeth van Tongeren (Greenpeace Netherlands), Marcelo Futado (Greenpeace Brazil), Steve Shallhorn (GP AUstralia), Brigitte Behrens (Greenpeace Germany), Markus Allemann (Greenpeace Switzerland), Jun Hoshikawa (Greenpeace Japan) , and Deputy Executive Directors - Rose Young (Greenpeace USA), Frode Plym (Greenpeace Nordic). The directors are joined by Paddy Hart, a former whaling ship captain and harpooner.
