The land is rented by Greenpeace and is located next to the Bonfol toxic dump site. Five years ago Greenpeace ended its occupation of the dump site after the industry agreed to clean up the site and to pay all costs. However five years later nothing concrete has been done. The chemical industry presented an insufficient plan and has shown a growing unwillingness to fulfill its earlier commitments. Greenpeace has rented the land neighbouring the site in order to watch further developments on the dump site.
