Phosphogypsum is the gypsum formed as a by-product of processing phosphate ore into fertilizer with sulfuric acid. The MV Sirius and flotilla fishing boats harassed dump barges containing yellow sludge at the Seine estuary. One dumpbarge was sprayed with paint, occupied and immobilized by activists.
