The week before, after a farmer had found toxic waste in his field near the dump site Letten, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry companies of Basel had started with a partial, careless and dangerous clean up of the site. Greenpeace Switzerland and Greenpeace France filed a lawsuit together against the companies and demand that the site is cleaned up thoroughly.
