Greenpeace setzt sich, zusammen mit lokalen Fischern, fuer den Schutz der Biodervisitaet an Indiens Ostkueste (Golf von Bengalen) ein. Greenpeace activists deploy the first of the buoys to demarcate the boundaries of the Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary. As the first activity of the campaign, these buoys were deployed to alert fishermen when they are in danger of entering the no-fishing zone around the sanctuary.
