Unveiling statue of Prime Minister Balkenende

The statue of Prime Minister Balkenende is unveiled. Present are representatives of almost all political parties. From the pedestal sounds a speech about the perfect Climate Agreement which has to be made in Copenhagen. Tomorrow it is up to the political leaders of Europe to decide what will be the European effort for the climate negotiations. Today the parliament will speak to the Prime Minister about this.

Een standbeeld van Minister J.P. Balkenende is onthuld. Hierbij zijn vertegenwoordigers van bijna alle politieke partijen aanwezig. Het beeld spreekt historische woorden over ideale klimaatakkoord dat in Kopenhagen gesloten moet worden. Morgen is het aan de regeringsleiders om de Europese inzet in de klimaatonderhandelingen te bepalen. Vandaag spreekt de Kamer hierover met de premier.
