Otherwise known as "Lapindo mud" the flow is a continuous eruption of mud and gas and is considered to be a mud volcano. The dikes created to contain the mud flow are being quickly filled with mud and that the threat to communities and to the environment around the disaster area is growing by the day. According to Greenpeace, the situation is slipping beyond control.
