Greenpeace activists march holding signs and a giant earth globe during the Marche Du Siècle (Walk of the Century)  in Paris, France. According to organizers, more than 100,000 people participated in the climate march in Paris, and 350,000 country-wide. In the French capital, protesters marched from Place du Trocadero, near the Eiffel Tower, to Place de l'Opera, before ending at Place de la République, where speeches and concerts were held. Citizens took to the streets to have a political response to the climatic urgency and theirs demands of social justice.
