Freedom Island Waste Clean-up and Brand Audit in the Philippines

The #breakfreefromplastic global movement which counts 900 member organizations globally, has launched various coastal cleanup activities in different parts of the world.
In the Philippines, its member organizations started a 10-day coastal cleanup in Manila Bay at Freedom Island (Las Pinas Paranaque Critical Habitat Ecosystem Area or LPPCHEA) on September 11. Pushing for greater accountability for corporations who are largely responsible for single-use plastics ending up in our ocean, roads, and waterways.
