Water Well in Wardha Region in India

Farmers struggle to decongest water wells in the shadow of the incomplete Lanco Power Plant near Mandva village. Many wells here were clogged with residues which fell in the fields surrounding the under construction Lanco Power Project. Much of the costs to liven these fields were carried out by the aggrieved farmers themselves.
