Greenpeace campaigners joined with Almanaque Azul, Ciudad del Saber, Fudacion Albatross Media, IFAW, GREENPEACE, TVN, and The Whaleman Foundation (IWC) to press the International Whaling Commission for a whale sanctuary in the Southern Ocean as the IWC met in Panama City for their 64th annual meeting. A display of posters and billboards covered Panama City highlighting the magesty of whales and the horror of their slaughter. People joined in a Fiesta with drummers, stilt walkers, banners, a giant inflatable whale and an aerial art piece executed by Spectral Q at the City of Knowledge.
