Whale Spotting at Andenes Lighthouse in Norway
Greenpeace arctic expert Larissa Beumer of Germany during whale spotting from the lighthouse on the coast at Andenes, Norway. Greenpeace research trip along the northern Norwegian coast to Tromso and the Goliat oil platform. Near Tromso the team observed humpback whales and orcas feeding on herring. The area is one of the few along the Norwegian coast that is still free of oil drilling. Further north the team flew by the Goliat oil platform, 85 kilometers northwest of Hammerfest.
