New England Blizzard
People struggle to get around neighborhoods in Boston after a giant winter storm hit. The severe winter storm, named Nemo by some weather watchers, which hammered the north east coastal states, may have been supercharged by climate change according to some climate scientists.
The record-breaking blizzard was a result of two weather systems – a disturbance from the Gulf region with lots of moisture and a cold front from the west – colliding.
