Wood Stove Construction Training in Kaolack
Efficient wood stove construction training in Kaolack, Senegal. The clay is formed by hands to a stove.
During the 2012 International Scout Days Senegalese scouts learn for two days all the techniques to construct efficient wood stoves made of clay. The efficient wood stoves are made of clay, straw and cow dung. All ingredients are sustainable and have a positive effect on the development of the site. The workshop is organized by Greenpeace Africa and the Youth Support Center of Greenpeace Switzerland.

Formation de construire des foyers d'argile à Kaolack
Kaolack, le 28. août 2012: Kaolack est une ville frontalière de la Gambie, située à 192 km de Dakar. Sa position de ville carrefour lui donne une place de choix dans la vie économique du Sénégal. Cependant, elle est très affectée par la pollution et la saleté. Les journées internationales Scout 2012 ont été une occasion pour les Scouts du Sénégal de profiter d’une formation sur la construction de foyers à argile dans les locaux du Lycée Moderne de Kaolack. Ces activités ont duré deux jours pendant lesquels une démonstration a été faite sur la construction des foyers à argiles.
