World Car Free Day in Recife, Brazil

Greenpeace Brazil joined the World Car Free Day in Recife to celebrate possible solutions for mobility in the city, alongside people, communities and organizations leading the activity. Within the celebration, there was a bycicle parade leaving Santa Luzia community, a boat parade leaving Ilha de Deus, and several activities in Marco Zero (downtown Recife).
The main objective is to discuss solutions for Brazilian cities, ranging from more bicycle paths, to cleaner buses, more subway lines, better sidewalks and better structured mobility plans. The best solution is a combination of means of transportation to ensure a flowing city. After all, we move this city.
