Next week the last day of the trial against two Japanese Greenpeace whale activists takes place. In 2008 they revealed a huge applied smuggling of whale meat. Now they are under the threat of imprisonment for several years. Today at the „fairy“ castle of King Louis – Neuschwanstein - there is a big protest of Greenpeace activists. They hung up a 200 square meter banner at the walls of the castle at the crack of dawn. Their hope is to draw attention to the fate of Sato and Suzuki also in Japan. Neuschwanstein attracts 1.3 million visitors each year and is probably one of the most photographed themes by Japanese tourists. Statement: Thilo Maack, Greenpeace Germany marine biologist

Statement: Thilo Maack, Greenpeace Germany Meeresbiologe
