Peaceful Climate Protest in the Harbour of Hamburg (Trump sculpture) - News Access
Hamburg, 7 July, 2017: Greenpeace activists tow a sculpture of US President Donald Trump on a pontoon in front of the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg, where G20 leaders gather for a performance. The seven-metre sculpture depicts US-president Trump as a crying baby with a full diaper and a torn copy of the Paris Climate Agreement, sitting on a globe. Under the figure stands the message 'Time For A Change'. With this action Greenpeace is calling for a swift implementation of the Paris agreement of 2015 and act for the protection of our climate. Statements: Andre Böhling, Greenpeace Germany energy expert; Jacques Tilly, artist.
