Pianist Igor Levit makes a musical statement for the protection of the Dannenröder Forest in Hesse. Levit plays the piano along a path that was cut clear for the expansion of the planned highway A49. The concert is broadcasted with loudspeakers to the environmentalists within the forest. Together, Igor Levit, Fridays for Future spokesperson Luisa Neubauer and Greenpeace forest expert Gesche Jürgens are calling on the German government to stop the planned construction of the highway and protect the forest.
