Following the ecological disaster occurred in the Kamchatka peninsula, a Greenpeace Russia expedition team continues to inspect territories of the peninsula that could be affected by pollution, and also take new samples. The experts found dead sea animals on the central embankment of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. On Khalaktyr Beach the expedition team also found dead crabs on the ocean shore. 

8 октября камчатская экспедиция Greenpeace продолжила осмотр территорий полуострова, которые могли быть затронуты загрязнением, а также взяла новые пробы. Эксперты обнаружили на центральной набережной Петропавловска-Камчатского трупы морских животных. На Халактырском пляже также продолжают находить мёртвых животных: 8 октября экспедиция обнаружила на берегу океана мёртвых крабов.
