Namie, Fukushia - The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident marks the 10-year anniversary on March 11, 2021. Greenpeace Japan has been conducting continuous radiation surveys in Fukushima Prefecture right after the accident, and in November 2020, we conducted our 32nd survey in Iitate and Namie. A decade of Greenpeace Japan radiation survey has consistently found that most of the Special Decontamination Area (SDA), where the government is responsible for decontamination, remains contaminated with radioactive caesium.
