Local fishers are catching fish in Khan Kradai Bay.

With agreement among the community to maintain sustainable fishery, the Khan Kradai Bay community uses fishing gears and methods suitable to a specific type of fish, refrain from fishing during breeding season, and set up fish houses to create nursery facilities for marine animals. 

ชุมชนคั่นกระได เป็นหนึ่งในชุมชนที่มีความเข้มแข็งด้านการอนุรักษ์ท้องทะเล โดยมีข้อตกลงร่วมกันในชุมชน ให้ชาวประมงในพื้นที่ใช้เครื่องมือจับสัตว์น้ำแบบไม่ทำลายล้าง ใช้เครื่องมือเฉพาะอย่างกับปลาแต่ละชนิด ไม่จับสัตว์น้ำในฤดูวางไข่ และวางบ้านปลาเป็นพื้นที่เขตอนุรักษ์เพื่อสร้างแหล่งที่อยู่อาศัยให้กับสัตว์น้ำวัยอ่อน
