More than 500 organizations from all over the country carried out a national mobilization in defense of wetlands and in demand for a law that protects them. The epicenter is the city of Rosario, almost permanently affected by the smoke from the wetland fires, with a massive march and the cutting of the bridge that connects Rosario with the city of Victoria, Entre Ríos. Wetlands cover more than 21% of the national territory and have an enormous biological, social, cultural and economic value. It is estimated that 40% of the world's biodiversity lives or reproduces in wetlands.
