A Greenpeace Russia team is investigating on the place of the disaster.

В Тихий океан, в районе города Петропавловск-Камчатский попали ядовитые вещества неизвестного происхождения, в результате чего погибло до 95% морских обитателей.
на официальном сайте Камчатского края появились данные о том, что на Козельском полигоне ядовитых отходов, который упоминается в версиях причин загрязнения прибрежной акватории Тихого океана на Камчатке, обнаружили повреждения защитных сооружений.
Команда Гринпис России работает на месте событий.
