Nuclear is not a solution to climate crisis! As part of Global Climate Strike in March 2022, Greenpeace Japan and local activists hold signs to say “Nuclear is not a solution to the climate crisis” in front of TEPCO’s Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant. Japanese government and TEPCO intend to restart nuclear power plants in name of climate solution, but depending on the unstable and high risk power source will only delay practical climate actions.
