With the Wings of Emergency (Asas da Emergência, in Portuguese) project, Greenpeace Brazil is providing emergency help to indigenous people to reduce the impact of the coronavirus (Covid-19). The environmental organization is sending health professionals and equipment to areas where logistics are permanent challenges for the healthcare system.  
On May 15th, along with Instituto Socioambiental (ISA), the project transported hygiene kits (hand sanitizer with alcohol 70%, soap and masks) and hospital supplies, besides sewing machines and fabric necessary to produce masks, to São Gabriel da Cachoeira, in the Amazonas state, one of the most impacted Brazilian cities.
