Fires are both a driver and symptom of the climate crisis. Over the past years, we have witnessed intense fires all over the World.
With the help of the Calendar, you can predict fire hazardous periods in different parts of the world and accordingly prepare for a response both in the fields and in the information space. To compile the Calendar, we selected the most burning countries and analyzed the long-term average values of the number of hot spots throughout the year. You can read more about the methodology in the corresponding section.
Dashboard allows you to analyze information about the development of fires and predict possible scenarios for the development of the situation on existing fires and the spread of dangerous smoke.

С помощью Календаря можно прогнозировать пожароопасные периодов в разных частях света и соответственно подготовится к реагированию как в полях, так и в информационном пространстве. Для составления Календаря мы выбрали наиболее горящие страны и проанализировали средние многолетние значения количества термоточек в течение года. Подробнее о методологии вы можете прочесть в соответствующем разделе. Это продукт сейчас предназначен только для внутреннего пользования в Гринпис.
Дашборд позволяет анализировать информацию о развитии пожаров и прогнозировать возможные сценарии развития ситуации на действующих пожарах и распространения опасного задымления.
