Nornikel Dumps Toxic Waste into Tundra in Russia
On Taymyr peninsula in the Russian Arctic Greenpeace Russia together with independent journalists revealed environmental crime commited by Nornikel. The company is throwing off waste from Talnackh enrincing factory. It goes into tundra rivers, and reaches river Khayerlakch and lake Pyasino - the same lake that was already polluted by the oil products accident on thermal power plant-3. Activists and journalists called Police, Emergency service and Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources.
