We all know it: endless mountains of electronic waste, furniture, clothes and much more, often in very good condition, end up as rubbish. In Switzerland, we generate over 700 kg of waste per person every year. This makes us one of the negative leaders in the whole of Europe.
That is why other approaches are needed. One particularly important solution is repairing. This makes it possible to extend the life of objects and save the resources needed to replace them.
