The Greenpeace ship Esperanza, escorted by a flotilla of crew and supporters, arrives in its home port of Amsterdam on 20 November, 2021.
Passing through IJmuiden and docking at Oranjewerf in the Dutch capital, alongside the Rainbow Warrior and the new vessel, the Witness, it was the Esperanza's final journey before going into retirement. Corona virus restrictions in place in the Netherlands at the time meant crew had isolated together during the journey and so were able to make physical contact with one another.
