Greenpeace activists are protesting at the Siemens headquarters in Munich against the company's plans to participate in a new dam project in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. The home to over 12.000 indigenous Munduruku and hundreds of animal species would be affected by the 7.6 kilometer-long São Luiz do Tapajós-dam. Activists protest against the planned massive destruction with a long piece of tree trunk out of a Brazilian nut tree from the jungle. A piece of the trunk is cut off and passed with the demand "Save the heart of the Amazon" at the Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser.
