Biking Projection against NPP’s Construction in Taiwan
Taiwan will have a referendum in December to decide about restarting the construction of the fourth nuclear power plant (NPP4).
Greenpeace Taiwan activists rode on bicycles equipped with projectors, in Taipei and New Taipei city, the two cities that are the most likely to be affected if an accident occurs at the NPP4.
To highlight the risk of nuclear power, the images projected from the bikes showed nuclear barrels running after children and animals; they also revealed the difficulty of dealing with nuclear waste if through the referendum people decide to restart the NPP4.
The projection was also shown at Taipei’s City Hall.
