Brazilian Minister of No-Environment in a Protest during COP26 in Glasgow
On the last day of COP 26 in Glasgow, during a Fridays for Future protest, a Joaquim Leite (Brazilian Minister of Environment) cardboard cutout took to the streets. It was holding a green paintbrush in his hands, an allusion on how the Brazilian government greenwashes its way out of problems, with Amazon destruction levels skyrocketing and Indigenous People's rights plummeting. During the protest, activists from Engajamundo and Brazilian Fridays for Future held signs that showed what the Brazilian reality is in fact.
