Children, young people and adults demonstrating together in Munich on the occasion of the IAA with a large bicycle ride and pedestrian demo for a mobility turnaround. Under the motto #aussteigen (#getout), the colorful demo is calling for a break from car-dominated transport policies and a priority for walking, cycling and local transport in inner cities. Politicians must finally free themselves from the crushing embrace of the automotive industry in order to enable climate-friendly transport for all, says the alliance of ADFC, Attac, BUND, Campact, DUH, Greenpeace, NaturFreunde Deutschlands and VCD, which had called for the protests.
