In August 2021, the South of Russia was hit hard by catastrophic downpours and stormy winds. In Anapa settlement since the beginning of August 2021, five and a half monthly precipitation rates have fallen. Thousands of people were left without electricity. Residential buildings, schools, kindergartens were damaged. Traffic on federal highways has been disrupted.

В августе 2021 года Юг России сильно пострадал от катастрофических ливней и штормового ветра. Сильнее других населённых пунктов досталось Анапе. Там с начала августа 2021 года выпало пять с половиной месячных нормы осадков. Тысячи человек остались без электричества. Были повреждены жилые здания, школы, детские сады. Нарушено движение по федеральным автодорогам.
